Post Concussion Syndrome Treatment that is Truly Improving Lives
People suffering with concussion symptoms very quickly realize that there is no standard post concussion syndrome treatment protocol offered by healthcare providers. Many are simply instructed to get a lot of rest; others undergo trials of medications attempting to treat their concussion headaches, depression or anxiety; and some are instructed to try alternative methods like acupuncture.
Patients often come to us frustrated and exhausted after months (and sometimes years) of trying all of these options with no success.
Groundbreaking Post Concussion Syndrome Treatment
We treat post concussion syndrome unlike any other healthcare professional. Our Clinical Director Dr. Victor M. Pedro is the founder of PEDROCIT®, an innovative, research-based diagnostic and treatment methodology. PEDROCIT is a non-invasive (no use of surgery or drugs) and cost-effective treatment for symptoms caused by concussions. Unlike other post concussion syndrome treatment methods, PEDROCIT seeks to resolve the underlying dysfunctions in the nervous system that give rise to a patient’s debilitating symptoms, whether it’s headaches, confusion, dizziness, balance issues, light/sound sensitivity and more. Here’s how the treatment process works:
STEP 1 - Initial Evaluation
STEP 2 - Treatment
STEP 3 - Assess the Patient's Response
Patients who respond positively to PEDROCIT® usually do so within this first visit; if s/he does, we then create a custom treatment plan.
STEP 4 - A Custom Post Concussion Syndrome Treatment Plan
Who We Treat
Our two-hour initial evaluation session involves diagnosis and, if warranted, a trial PEDROCIT treatment to confirm our diagnosis. Aside from shaping a customized treatment plan, this information allows us to assess the patient’s likelihood of success.
Unfortunately, there are certain conditions and lifestyle decisions that can negatively affect outcomes, including heavy alcohol use and other substance abuse, poor patient motivation, and irreversible damage to the brain. These are among the primary reasons we may not be able to accept patients.
Post Concussion Syndrome Treatment Outcomes
Since 2000, we’ve treated nearly 1,000 patients using PEDROCIT. In addition to treating post concussion syndrome, PEDROCIT has successfully helped patients suffering from other related neurological conditions, such as vertigo, traumatic brain injury, migraines, speech pathologies, and more. We’ve even successfully treated Paula Abdul for Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy back in 2012.
Successful PEDROCIT treatment often significantly reduces the impact of a patient’s concussion headaches and other related symptoms, so that s/he can resume a full or nearly full quality of life. The results of our treatment program are often long lasting, and may or may not require periodic follow-up treatment depending on the patient’s specific needs.
Patients Willing to Share Their Stories
Here are some words from patients or relatives of patients who underwent PEDROCIT for concussion symptoms.
I feel that I am getting my life back thanks to Dr. Pedro and RI Integrated Medicine. It is unique and very different from other brain rehabilitation programs. This one works! I have approximately 2-3 weeks left of treatment and I fully expect to build upon the progress I have already made. I am a work in progress, but I am hopeful for a full recovery.

My daughter now has an opportunity to go into the world and experience all that life has to offer because of her treatment from Dr. Victor Pedro. She is on no preventative or rescue headache medications. She can on occasion get a headache that she can treat with rest. She is able to read, study, go to malls, and attend movies all without any post concussion symptoms.
